My mom has been hanging with us since Christmas. Mostly we have been doing a whole lot of nothing, but today we left the house and took the girls on a girl date to Starbucks and Barnes & Noble, courtesy of Christmas gift cards. My daughters chose My Little Pony books, of course. At least they play like BFFs in some parallel pony universe only they understand.

We celebrated Christmas with my mom and Casey & Jaimie tonight. I slaved away ordering Chipotle burritos. Actually, Jake did using the Chipotle app on his phone (you may think I am getting paid for all of this product placements but no, I just like to provide details so you get the full effect). In case you are wanting more details, Casey only had four beverages tonight: a beer, a Coke, a Tom & Jerry, and a glass of milk. Casey is the king of beverages, he is constantly sipping something. We are looking forward to watching Casey drink liquids while taking a family vacation together to Disney this February. Jaimie's family members are huge Disney addicts as they go every single year and know all of the secrets, so we are finally joining them on a 5 day adventure with the girls and Gramsie.
