Another Sunday, another blog post. I just don't know how you make it through the week. Lots of hanging out at G&G's porch with the girls - they love the play set and I love the extra help. We took a day trip to Duluth to visit our birth family. We enjoyed the art fair and walking along Lake Superior. Nori loved the waves crashing on her feet; she did not want to leave the lake. We always tell her about the day she was born, show her St. Mary's Hospital were she was delivered and explain her birth story to her. Everyone asks us what it is like visiting our birth family and I tell them it is no more chaotic or dysfunctional than our regular family. Have you met my aunts? or my cousin who looks exactly like his 82 year old grandfather? See evidence below:

So anyway,
Nori did ask me who Hen's birth mother is.... maybe she does not have it all figured out yet. Henny declared "I love Dahloof!". Next time we are going for a real vacation - carriage ride down Canal Park an all.

Other weekend highlights include coffee with Missy, a pedicure with my big girl after Famlienfest was rained out, baking with the girls, family dance parties, and lots of snuggles.
