Due to so many weather related school days off this year, we have been implementing a little home school, Seltz style...
- Reading: Where The Red Fern Grows, cried during first chapter which was a spoiler alert as Nori deduced that the dog is going to die
- Math: counting Goldfish as we eat them
- Sociology: complaining about how people drive on bad roads
- Civics: Complaining about how the city plows
- Drama: watching the Lion King and Despicable Me
- Family and Consumer Sciences: making meals out of snow, doing laundry, grocery shopping
- Sport: dance parties, climbing snow banks to buckle kids in car, watching the Olympics
- Spelling: studying our EI words this week eins, mein, kein, bleiben, enimal
- Computer: playing games on Starfall.com
- Health: comforting a puking 2.5 year old, offering hydration, taking frequent baths
